The third ticketing sales phase for South Africa 2010 kicked off on Saturday 1pm, and since then 219,162 requests have been received via FIFA.com.

A global rush for tickets is expected later today, 5 December 2009, when the third ticketing sales phase for the 2010 FIFA World Cup kicks off.
Matches & Prices
Match Tickets
These are individual match tickets and are available for all matches (1 - 64). You can purchase a maximum of 4 tickets per match for up to 7 matches.
Team Specific Ticket Series (TST)
These are ticket strips to follow the national team of your choice. Depending on which TST Series you applied for, your TST Series may include between 3 and 7 matches and you may apply for a maximum of 4 TST Series. If your team is eliminated and your TST Series includes rounds after your team has been eliminated, your TST will remain valid to follow the team that progresses into the next round of the competition as indicated below.
Note: If your chosen product is not available to request from the drop down options this indicates that it is currently unavailable. It may become available at a later date, however this is not guaranteed. Please check FIFA.com for updates.
Ticket Categories
Tickets are available in four different categories:
Seats for Category 1 tickets are generally located alongside the pitch.
Seats for Category 2 tickets are generally located adjacent to Category 1, in the corners
Seats for Category 3 tickets are generally located adjacent to Category 2 behind the goals or in the corners
Seats for Category 4 tickets are generally located behind the goals.
Each stadium is configured differently, therefore the general rules should not be considered definitive in each circumstance.

Opening Match Premium
The Opening Match includes the Opening Ceremony of the 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa™ and the Opening Match Ticket Face Price is higher than the Face Price of tickets for the other Group Matches by the amounts set forth below (Opening Match Premium). Given that South Africa will play the Opening Match, the price of TST Series for South Africa or the team that is drawn to play South Africa at the Opening Match will consequently include the Opening Match Premium.
The Opening Match Premium for each Ticket Category is as follows:

Opening Match Important Note:
If you were successful in applying for TST Series, and the team you selected is drawn as team A2 at the Final Draw (December 2009), your team will play South Africa in the Opening Match and you will be required to pay the additional amount indicated above, the Opening Match Premium, plus the 10% TST Service Fee. You will be contacted to pay the Opening Match Premium prior to tickets being made available to you for collection.
Failure to pay the Opening Match Premium will lead to the cancellation of your Ticket Order.
Ticket Restrictions (Household Rules)
Category 4 tickets are reserved exclusively for residents of the Republic of South Africa. Applications for Category 4 tickets by people living outside of South Africa will not be accepted.
Each household may apply for a maximum of 4 tickets per match and for up to a maximum of 7 matches. Each household may apply for a maximum of 4 TST Series for the team of your choice.
All tickets ordered for a given match must be for the same ticket category, but you can order different categories for different matches.
It is not possible to apply for tickets to more than one match on the same day.
