Revolutionary moment in football: Transfer Matching System becomes mandatory

Revolutionary moment in football: Transfer Matching System becomes mandatory
(FIFA.com) Wednesday 29 September 2010

As of 1 October 2010, the FIFA Transfer Matching System (TMS) must be used for all international football transfers. TMS is an online system that makes international transfers quicker, smoother and, most importantly, more transparent. It was introduced in February 2008 as a test phase in 18 countries and since then it has been implemented in all FIFA member associations and overall in 3,633 clubs.

“This is a historic moment for football. TMS is a relatively simple online system but it will have a tremendous impact on the international transfer of players,” said FIFA President Joseph S. Blatter. “Thanks to TMS, football’s authorities have more details available on each and every transfer. The most important thing is that it increases the transparency of individual transactions and helps us to tackle issues such as the fight against money laundering and the protection of minors in transfers.”

The two clubs involved in a transfer have to enter the same information in TMS, otherwise the transfer will be blocked and the member association cannot issue the International Transfer Certificate (ITC).

Overall, more than 30 details on each transfer have to be entered, such as information on the player, club details, all payments including the amount, timing and bank details, and solidarity payments to previous clubs. These details must also be backed up by documentary evidence consisting of uploaded copies of the player’s identification documents, his new employment contract and the transfer contract between his former and future club. The new system replaces the old paper-based system.

When it comes to young and minor players, TMS also has a vital role to play. By keeping track of individual player histories, the system can be used to ensure that proper compensation payments can be calculated for clubs that have trained young players but have then seen them leave for other clubs.

In addition, the system has also been adapted to assist FIFA’s efforts to reduce the number of international transfers involving under-age players. Following approval by the FIFA Congress in 2009, any such transfers must first be approved by a sub-committee of the FIFA Players’ Status Committee (along with any applications for a minor player to be registered for the first time in a country where he is not a national), and TMS handles both the initial request and the subsequent decision-making process.

Best Taser X26 Price, Where to Buy By Nancy Ellis

Crime rates have dropped to an all time low. Maybe people are rightfully searching for Taser x26 price, as well as other models of Tasers and self defense products. The appeal of the Taser™ is its power combined with ease of use. One's physical size is of lesser consequence when a Taser™ is involved. Whoever has the Taser Gun has the upper hand.

Taser Guns work on everybody. A Taser shot stops the muscle nerves from working, incapacitating an attacker. This gives you enough time escape and call police. Taser guns are recognizable. Unlike other self protection devices, which may be disguised, Taser guns such as the Taser x26c are noticeable.

So how does a Taser work? When shot, two electrodes fired from the gun and will come in contact with an attacker. The two electrodes have wires connected to that at all times, which are directly connected to the gun. It is through these wires that the voltage current will be passed. It is this voltage current that will incapacitate an attacker so that they are no long able to move their muscles.

If you are planning to browse Taser x26 price, and Tasers in general, the best place to buy would be online. At the current moment in time the three most popular models that are being sold is the Taser X26C, Taser M26C due to reliability. You will see Taser x26 price varying between $1,000 and $1,200. The great thing about these models is that they offer a life time guarantee - few other products can boast such a guarantee.

One thing that you have to keep in mind with regard to owning a Taser in the United States is that you will require a license to legally own one. If you have a Taser without a license, you are risking yourself to be liable for a fine and even imprisonment. There are certain states in America that do not allow one to own a Taser even with a license. One such state is New York. Before buying a Taser, it is highly recommended that you take a bit of time to research the legal complications that are related to your country.

It is best to browse Taser x26 price, and other Tasers from a professional website. http://www.safetybeginning.com is owned by an active Washington police officer, who saw the need to provide Americans with a trusted source for Tasers and other self defense products. Safety Beginning is a highly recommended source with the Taser x26 for sale. When you buy your Taser x26 from Safety Beginning, you will receive $100 rebate! This is a deal you won't find elsewhere.

Taeguk Ladies strike Caribbean gold

(FIFA.com) Sunday 26 September 2010

THE DAY REPLAYED – The FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup Trinidad and Tobago 2010 came to a pulsating conclusion on Saturday as Korea Republic beat Japan 5-4 in a penalty shootout, the last act in a thrilling final packed with goals and drama. Tied at 3-3 at the end of 90 minutes in which the lead and the initiative changed hands continually, the two sides battled to a standstill in extra-time, with the South Koreans holding their nerve from the spot to win the country’s maiden FIFA title.
Earlier in the day Spain took the honours in the match for third place, securing a 1-0 win over defending champions Korea DPR. Dominant in the first half without finding any reward, Las Rojitas capitalised on a mistake in the North Korean defence to take the lead just after the restart and were indebted to goalkeeper Dolores Gallardo as they survived a late fightback by the gallant North Koreans.
Results
Spain 1-0 Korea DPR
Korea Republic 3-3 Japan (a.e.t - Korea Republic win 5-4 on pens)
Goal of the day
Korea Republic 1-0 Japan, Lee Jung-Eun 6The opening goal of a nail-biting final came from fully 25 yards out, as Jung-Eun arrowed a powerful drive into the top right-hand corner of Eri Hirao’s net. That set the tone for the rest of the game, which yielded four more long-distance strikes. The South Korean midfielder proved less reliable from the spot later in the game however, missing her kick in the penalty shootout. Fortunately for Jung-Eun, here team-mates made amends.
Memorable moments
Anything you can do …

The match for third place was something of a private duel between the two keepers. Korea DPR custodian Choe Kyong-Im was the star of the show in the opening 45 minutes, pulling off a string of excellent stops to deny Spain the goal they deserved. The second half was all about her opposite number Dolores Gallardo, who saved her best till last, thwarting a late North Korean comeback with some magnificent stops in the final ten minutes.
A touch of stardust
As if playing a FIFA World Cup final were not tense enough, the Korea Republic and Japan teams had another reason to be nervous as they lined up for the national anthems before kick-off. Waiting to greet them all was none other than David Beckham, an interested spectator at the Hasely Crawford Stadium in Port of Spain.
Shooting on sight
The final produced some spectacular long-range shooting, with all but one of the goals scored in normal time coming from shots from outside the box. While some whistled into the corners, others flew right over the heads of the two keepers, who endured an unusually testing evening.
The stat
125 -
The number of goals scored at Trinidad and Tobago 2010, 12 more than at the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup New Zealand 2008. With 22 and 20 goals respectively, Germany and Japan boasted the most prolific attacks in the competition.
What they saidMy goal is a big one - I want to be the best women’s player in the world. I want Korea Republic to become a major force not just in Asia but in the world at senior level. MANCHESTER UNITED VS LIVERPOOL PREVIEW AND BETTING PREDICTIONS

MANCHESTER UNITED VS LIVERPOOL PREVIEW AND BETTING PREDICTIONS

By A.J. Ryder on 10:42PM GMT 15 Sep 2010

Easily the biggest fixture of the weekend is Sunday's noon-time match-up between Manchester United and Liverpool in the English Premier League. Both sides could really use the three points, having each thrown away a match or two so far this season. As we progress further and further in, it becomes all the more apparent that Chelsea look set to dominate the English Premier League this year- truly looking a class apart.
If you're looking to back Liverpool to get one over United, which they've been known to do in the past, you can back them at a 9/2 price tag with William Hill.
Manchester United's odds to beat Liverpool on Sunday are trading at an odds-on price of 4/6 with William Hill, while the draw is listed at 5/2.
The favoured correct score outcome is looking like a 1-0 result to Manchester United and you can back that at 11/2. A 1-1 draw or a 2-0 victory to the Red Devils is priced at 13/2. Liverpool to win the match 1-0 pays 11/1 with a 2-1 victory rewarding at 16/1.
United to dominate the match and take both legs of the half-time/full-time market is listed at a very solid 17/10, which fans of the Old Trafford club should jump all over. Draw/Manchester United is probably a safer option for neutrals and you can lock in a 16/5 price.
Wayne Rooney is the only player listed at an odds-on price to score and you can back the controversial England striker at a 10/11 price tag to score anytime. He is available at 7/2 to score first or last and he's at 4/1 to get two or more.
A Wayne Rooney hat-trick against Liverpool is listed at 20/1.
Fernando Torres' odds are quite competitive and he's available at 2/1 anytime and 7/1 first or last. Torres is 10/1 to get two or more goals and he's at 50/1 to notch a famous hat-trick.
Dimitar Berbatov is trading at a 6/5 price anytime while Javier Hernandez sits at 6/4. He got a run-out in the Champions League and will look to start seeing more of the ball, going forward.
Nani should line up for this one and he's at 11/4 anytime while Darren Fletcher will likely be deployed once more in the middle. If this match is going to end 1-0 then Darren Fletcher is definitely going to score the winner. This is his type of match.
Liverpool are in a worse situation than United at the moment and they need to start producing more goals ASAP. Joe Cole looks a bust at this point and he will need to produce a big performance on Sunday. Steven Gerrard will be the go-to-guy for Liverpool, doubtlessly, but he simply can't do it himself all the time. Somebody else needs to step up for Liverpool and their fans will likely become increasingly frustrated if Torres doesn't start showing much more acumen in front of goal. http://bettingchoice.co.uk

Flower Garden in Urban Environment By Kenneth Elliott

Small Flower Garden planning in a urban environment involves planning in a scarce environment. That is why it's important to know what to look for in that nook, niche, or corner. When creating that secret flower garden there are a few things to keep in mind.

First thing to consider in creating a flower garden is the choice of earth on which to begin your task. The Flower garden will have to be simply a suitable plot with suitable conditional. When you don't have much room at all the basic choice becomes no presence of earths bounty or a neatly organized small plot on which to produce the flowers and food you desire.

What kind of spot are you looking for for your flower garden? In the higher order of wants and needs, sun needs to be your deciding factor of spots. You don't want to maintain a north plot, unless it were absolutely forced to you. Why? Because of too much sun light. Now a northern exposure might be okay for certain strong strains of flowers in your flower garden or perhaps ferns, they are really not much use as spots for a domestic flower garden.

Now, the right conditions would be a plot with southern exposure, if you can get it. Here the sun lies cozy all day. Once you've identified the plot and begin to plan out how it will be planted, your rows of vegetables and flowers should run north and south. Planting your flower garden this way will allow your plants to bask in the loving warmth of the sun all morning on the eastern part and all the afternoon on the western side. Enjoy your new flower garden!

Twente hold Inter in Enschede (PA) Tuesday 14 September 2010

Tuesday, September 14, 2010

Rafa Benitez had an unconvincing start to UEFA Champions League life with Inter Milan, as the holders were held to a 2-2 draw at Twente.
I Nerazzurri opened the scoring when Wesley Sneijder, playing in his homeland, drilled a shot into the bottom-right corner of the hosts' goal on 13 minutes, but the Dutch outfit were quickly back on level terms. Walter Samuel fouled Luuk de Jong and, from the resulting free-kick, Theo Janssen hit an effort from 20 yards which went into the top-left corner of the Inter goal.
There was only half an hour on the clock when Twente took the lead in fortuitous circumstances. An inswinging corner from right by Janssen was headed into his own goal by Argentinian forward Diego Milito, who gave his goalkeeper Julio Cesar no chance.

Five minutes later Inter's Esteban Cambiasso saw his shot hit the Twente bar as the visitors pressed for an equaliser. And Samuel Eto'o drew things level once more when he struck just before half-time, his shot from 25 yards finding the bottom-right corner.
Inter right-wingback Maicon was shown a yellow card four minutes into the second half after he fouled Twente midfielder Nacer Chadli. Jansen tried his luck from 20 yards out but his shot was over the bar.
With 15 minutes to go, Twente coach Michel Preud'homme, who took over from Steve McLaren when the Englishman moved to Wolfsburg in the summer, replaced striker Marc Janko with midfielder Emir Bajrami as the home side appeared to settle for a share of the spoils.
Sneijder was Inter's most effective player as he led the visiting side's continued attempts to snatch a late winner. With eight minutes to go, Samuel's shot from the right was blocked by Bryan Ruiz as Twente fought off more attacks.
Less then five minutes from the end, Inter coach Benitez tried his last throw of the dice when he brought on midfielder Sulley Muntari for Samuel, but his side could not find a winner.fifa.com

Euro 2012 Qualifiers Draw: Analyis and Predictions for Every Group

Tuesday, September 7, 2010

By (Featured Columnist) on February 7, 2010
The draw for the qualifying section of Euro 2012 was made this morning and it threw up a few tough groups that the likes of England, Holland, Germany, and France should negotiate but will find the going difficult.
Fifty-one countries entered the draw, with duel host nations, Poland and Ukraine, waiting for them in the finals.
The groups will be contested across the usual league system on a home-and-away basis, with all matches scheduled between September 2010 and October 2011.
The nine winners and the runner-up with the best record against the top fie teams in their group will join the two hosts in the finals. The eight remaining runners-up go into play-off matches in November 2011 to decide the final four sides to join co-hosts Poland and Ukraine, making it 16 teams who will battle for Spain's title.
It's worth noting that Euro 2012 will be the last European Championships with 16 teams, as form Euro 2016 the tournament will be expanded to 24 teams after the Scottish and Irish Football Associations raised the issue of expansion in a recent meeting. As it stands, France, Italy, and Turkey are competing to host the tournament.
But back to the present. The draw was made in Warsaw and the road to Euro 2012 can finally begin. To see a UEFA simulation of the draw click here .
Group A has Germany as favourites and top seeds. But they will pretty much have to face six derby's after being drawn with local rivals Austria and Belgium , as well as having to face Turkey , who have massive representation in Germany. Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan will make up the group, but in reality neither have a chance of qualification.
The German's should top the group even though their matches against their three rivals will be tight affairs as the Kazakh's and Azerbaijani's are likely to take points off the unprepared. Belgium could cause a few shocks, especially as they have a brilliant youth system about to blossom.
Winners: Germany
Second: Belgium

Group B is one of the most wide open. Russia are top seeds but will have to face Slovakia , as well as a trip to Lansdowne Road when they play Ireland . There is not much between these teams and while the Russians will be favourites, the Slovak's and Irish will fancy their chances of either sneaking the group of taking the best runner up spot that would also guarantee qualification.
Macedonia , Armenia , and Andorra will make up the rest of the group, with the Macedonian's in particular likely to cause some upsets.
Winners: Russia
Best runners-up: Ireland

Group C will be carved up between Italy and Serbia . No one else in this section has a chance of topping the group and it is very likely that it could come down to goal difference, even at this early stage of predictions.
Northern Ireland , Slovenia , and Estonia will all hope that each other takes points off one of the big two while they capitalise on the situation. The truth of the matter is that they are all evenly matched are are more likely to damage each others seeding for the next World Cup draw.
The group is finished off by Brian Kerr's Faroe Islands . They're guaranteed to finish bottom but should take vital points off the less experienced teams.
Winners: Italy
Second: Serbia

Group D will be tough to call, especially if Raymond Domenech holds onto his job past South Africa. It's most likely that he will be replaced by Laurent Blanc by the time the Euro's start so expect a new look French team to take the battle to their rivals.
Even with their recent lack lustre displays, France are easily the strongest team in this weak looking group.
Romania will have a lot to do to finish second never mind win the group. Bosnia-Herzegovina are improving and will look to take advantage of Romania's demise over the past couple of years.
Belarus , Albania , and Luxumbourg will make up the group and none of the leading teams will fancy needing to take points in these hard to go places, with the exception of Luxumbourg.
Winners: France
Second: Bosnia Herzegovina

Group E is possibly the toughest the call. Holland are joined by Sweden , Finland , and the improving Hungary . Moldova and San Marino make up the make-weights of this nasty looking group.
Holland are very dependent on Robin van Persie and will be hoping that the Arsenal star will be fully recovered from his injury problems come September never mind next June. If fit, the Dutch are easy favourites. Without him, they could be exposed by the Swedish.
Sweden are really Holland's only rivals, but they themselves could be overtaken by Hungary in particular if they are off form.
Winners: Holland
Second: Sweden

Group F is probably the weakest group on show. Croatia are no great shakes and are the type of team who can all too easily be put off their game. For that reason almost every team in this hardest to call group has a chance.
Greece are always tough to beat, but don't score enough. Israel score their fair share, but drop silly points. While Latvia and Georgia will both be looking to finish second.
Poor old Malta finish out the group, but on their day they can be difficult to beat, especially in the heat of Valetta.
Winners: Greece
Second: Israel

Group G is the first of three five team groups, and as such will be at a major disadvantage in chasing that coveted best runner up spot.
England are easy favourites, but will have to work to qualify. Switzerland and Bulgaria are the immediate threats but should not trouble England in the slightest. The hard working Swiss will perhaps show the biggest threat over the Dimitar Berbatov led Bulgarian's.
Actually, England's most difficult matches should be against John Toshack's young Wales .
Fixture negotiation will be key in ascertaining the Welsh threat in this group, but Wales could finish second and improve their seeding.
Montenegro are the worst possible fifth seeds England could have drawn. More than capable of putting it up to the group favourites, they will fancy their chances of causing a major upset and finishing second.
Winners: England
Second: Switzerland

Group H is the group of death before the group of death. Denmark , Portugal, Norway, and Cyprus will be joined by Iceland in a group where every team is capable of taking points off each other.
Portugal will probably start as favourites but that will not frighten any of their rivals. Denmark won't fear them, neither will Norway or Cyprus who improve with every qualifying campaign.
The fact that the group is made of five teams means that there is almost no room for error. For that reason I expect the well drilled Dane's to progress.
Winners: Denmark
Second: Portugal

Group I sees current champions Spain face the Czech Republic , Scotland , Lithuania , and Lichtenstein .
Qualification as best runner up is practically impossible in this of all groups as it's likely to be so tight, as all the five team groups seem to be.
Spain will qualify easily so that leaves a straight up battle for second. Scotland are about as poor as they have ever been. The Czech Republic are getting worse every year and Lithuania are no great shakes.
At home all three will be formidable but they will drop points away. It's all a matter of who will hold their nerve when it's needed most.
Winners: Spain
Second: Lithuania

England cruise past Bulgaria

(AFP) Friday 3 September 2010

Jermain Defoe hit a hat-trick as England romped to a 4-0 victory over Bulgaria in their opening UEFA EURO 2012 qualifying game at Wembley tonight.
The striker's first treble for England and a late strike from Manchester City youngster Adam Johnson sealed the Group G points for Fabio Capello's side, who were desperate to bounce back from a disappointing 2010 FIFA World Cup™.
Capello kept faith with seven of the side who started the disastrous 4-1 defeat against Germany which ended their South African campaign.
The Italian supremo's trust was largely rewarded on an evening at Wembley where the pluses more than outweighed the minuses, with a revitalised Wayne Rooney helping set up all four goals.
As well as the razor-sharp finishing of Defoe, Capello could also reflect with satisfaction on an authoritative performance in goal by Manchester City's Joe Hart, who pulled off a string of key saves at crucial moments.
The emphatic win was just what Capello had been looking for as he prepares to take his side to Basle next Tuesday for a tricky away tie with Switzerland.
England got off to a dream start after only three minutes, when a dreadful mistake by Bulgaria full-back Stanislav Manolev handed possession to the home side near the edge of the area.
A menacing chip from Rooney found Ashley Cole darting into the box, whose shot was well stopped by Nikolay Mihaylov at the near post. Mihaylov was only able to divert the ball back to Cole, however, and the Chelsea left-back steered the rebound back across the six-yard area for Defoe to hook it into the roof of the net.
Capello's men kept Bulgaria pegged back throughout the opening 45 minutes, closing down their jittery opponents with vim and vigour. Yet for all England's dominance of possession they were unable to add to Defoe's early goal.
In fact, the closest an England player came to scoring again in the first half came at their own end, when Hart cemented his status as Capello's first-choice goalkeeper with a fine save from a miscued Glen Johnson clearance.
England were back on the attack within moments of the restart, however, and Rooney forced a scrambled one-handed save from Mihaylov with an audacious lob from the edge of the area.
But Bulgaria also had alarm bells ringing at the other end when Spurs centre-half Michael Dawson allowed Valeri Bojinov to sneak in after misjudging a speculative punt forward. Bojinov threaded through to Ivelin Popov, whose rasping shot across the face of goal flew just wide with Hart beaten.
Bulgaria's next attack would lead to the decisive England goal on 61 minutes. A swift break out of defence freed winger Martin Petrov in space down the left. Petrov's cutback was met first time by Stanislav Angelov only to be parried by Hart, and as Bulgaria rued missing what would have been a well-worked equaliser, England raced forward on the counter-attack.
Gerrard broke and the ball was rapidly swept to Rooney, who once again turned provider to slide a perfectly-weighted pass through to Defoe, who finished calmly to seal the match.
The increasingly assured Hart again thwarted Bulgaria moments later, producing a splendid one-handed save from Stanislav Rangelov.
Johnson drilled in number three on 83 minutes after good work by Rooney, before Defoe - played in by Rooney once more - completed his hat-trick. (fifa.com)
